Colin is qualified with a Bachelor of Optometry (South Africa) in 1992 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Science received at the University of Auckland in 1994, where they established their own practice for eight years overlooking Mission Bay, Auckland. Colin has done post graduate study in ocular therapeutics, which enables him to diagnose and prescribe medications for common eye diseases.  Colin has exceptional skill in fitting contact lenses and a keen interest in low vision, helping others rediscover their life.

Bev, qualified with a Bachelor of Optometry in 1992 and then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Science in 1994. She has also completed a post grad in ocular medications  which enables her to diagnose and prescribe medication for common eye diseases. Bev has completed post graduate studies in behavioral and neuro developmental optometry and has completed a  Fellowship with the Australian College of Behavioral Optometry. She has had a paper published on the "Gut -Brain axis and its relationship to attention, cognition and visual perception." As well as general optometry and contact lenses, Bev has a special interest in children's vision and behavioral optometry. She has been working with children who have both vision and visual processing problems for many years. She works both in the practice and in schools to provide these services. 

Kate McIntosh and Bethany Penman  are both optical dispensers who are available to assist you with expert frame selection and fitting, and will provide advice about the correct lenses for your spectacles.
